Downloadable Educational Materials

The New Mexico Poison Center offers a variety of materials designed to educate New Mexicans about poison prevention and first aid on a number of topics.  Feel free to download the materials below at your convenience.  All materials listed below are in portable document format (pdf).

If you are interested in ordering magnets, telephone stickers or additional pre-printed materials, please submit an online order form.  We offer up to 100 of each item per calendar year at no cost; additional amounts can be purchased for nominal fees.  Please allow two weeks to process.

  • Could You Be Next? (English) - introduces the reader to poisons and prevention tips.

  • Sharing Pills Can Kill - developed by the Carolinas Poison Center, this brochure provides information about prescription drug abuse among teens.

  • Carbon Monoxide, The Silent Killer - provides safety tips for avoiding carbon monoxide poisoning in the home.

  • Got Vape? - educates users of electronic cigarettes on how to prevent a poisoning from the nicotine contained in "juices." Poison prevention tips included for young children, teens and adults.

  • Med Tracker - fill out this form with your medical and medication information and then fold it to easily carry it in your wallet or purse.
