When 9 and 10 year old Chicago students mistake nicotine mints for candy things take a bad turn.  By the end of the school day, 16 of the 18 children who ate the mints presented with serious illness to include vomiting and abdominal cramps.  All 16 children had to be transported to various hospitals to receive advanced care.
